Duplo Marketing Hotting Up for Northern Lights
Ha-ha! Or is it tea-hee? Whatever your take, the fun is brewing for 200 businesses in and around Leeds.
Staff from Duplo, renowned for its print finishing technology, will be visiting companies over two days to make a special cuppa to promote a free-to-attend event in the city.
Teams armed with hampers of tea and biscuits are confident that this novel way of marketing is guaranTEAd to hit the right spot in promoting its second ‘Northern Lights’ at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds from March 8-9.
Dozens of businesses in the area will be visited by 10 tea-ms over two days to highlight the show. Targeted at anybody with an interest in print-associated technology, the event will spotlight latest innovations from Duplo and their event partners.
Sarah Crumpler, Duplo UK Marketing Manager, said: “Our staff have really warmed to this fun initiative. They’re all tea-d up, so look out for them in your neighbourhood! With the time-saving efficiencies that automated precision from Duplo products deliver, there’s more time for a cuppa!
She added: “We’re making time for tea with these companies because our relationships with the people are really important to us and it’s a great opportunity to meet them face to face. We want people to know about and, more importantly, come along to and gain value from our event.”
At Northern Lights, Duplo will be introducing the latest breakthrough print finishing technology and showing real-live applications, together with partners. Doors open on both days at 10am, with the event closing at 7pm on Tuesday 8 March and 5pm on the Wednesday 9 March.
