After an initial training period, Duplo International is pleased to formally announce the Bytes Document Solutions (BDS) distributorship.
With the announcement first being made in the national industry magazine in South Africa – GAPP, Duplo Export Sales Direct Bruno Picquet commented “We recently have decided to refocus our sales energy by appointing a new distributor in South Africa; we were looking for a new partner who has a well-established sales network, in-depth technical knowledge, and marketing capabilities. After a deep analysis of the distributor network in South Africa, Altron Bytes Document Solutions became the obvious choice. BDS ticked all boxes and had a huge appetite to complete it’s already well-furnished portfolio!”
Along with full technical training for staff, Bytes have committed to a full showroom in their Isando, Gauteng head office, including models from the DC-range, iSaddle, perfect binders and DuSense. National Operations Manager at Bytes, Keith Knott, is well aware of the responsibility placed in their hands when looking after Duplo products in the field, and are well equipped to do so, saying “When we were first approached by Duplo with a view to representing its products in the local market we were very well aware that Duplo has a large installed base in the local market that we will be taking full responsibility for the entire installed base for technical support.”
Duplo Regional Sales Manager Rob Reid is excited by the prospect of working with Bytes to develop the Duplo presence in South Africa “after conducting a thorough search in the market for an adequate new distributor, the match with Bytes couldn’t be more perfect, our portfolio of products can now be shown to interested customers in the showroom, and I have every confidence in the service of the machines by the technical team.
