Duplo Expands Gemini Print Digital Offering

Gemini Print Group has purchased a Duplo 350C Booklet System to expand its growing digital offering. Installation starts this week at the company’s site in Bristol.

The Duplo 350C Booklet System will provide Gemini Print with further capacity and automation for its finishing, which, as a result, will free up man hours and reduces wastage. It marries the DSC-10/20 Collator with the DBM-350 Bookletmaker and trimmer to create a cost-effective mid-range bookletmaking system with a compact suction collator, ideal for a wide range of applications.ki9

Gemini Print Group employs over 160 people across sites in Sussex and London as well as Bristol. It has a customer base across the UK.

Steve Cropper, Managing Director of Gemini Print Group, said: “We were most impressed by live demonstrations at drupa and are proud to have signed this deal with Duplo, which is a world respected print finishing company. This is part of a £2million investment over the past five years, which has also included a Kodak Nexpress 2500, as well as a Muller Martini stitching line and Heidelberg printing and folding systems. The Duplo 350C Booklet System is going to play a key role in expanding our digital offering.”

Peter Jolly, Duplo UK Managing Director, said: “Gemini Print clearly sees the benefits of investing in a bookletmaker that will free up a lot of time and improve wastage levels. It’s another example of how companies are increasingly turning to Duplo systems to enable their businesses to drive forward in smarter, faster and better ways of working.”
