A distinct royal flavour will be part of Duplo’s London Calling event that will include ‘remodelling’ its Surrey showroom as a 16th century palace.
The print finishing pioneer’s headquarters in Addlestone will be renamed ‘Automated Precision Palace’ on 4 October for London Calling VIII, an event that once again will demonstrate to customers how they can add value and increased revenue through faster, smarter and better finishing solutions.
Visitors to this exclusive print application event will be treated to a feast of live workflow and print demonstrations, starting at noon. A royal line up of market leading products will be on display along with partner systems at Duplo’s HQ, usually known as Automation Precision House.
New at Duplo’s London Calling VIII will be the iSaddle2 – building on the success of the industry-leading iSaddle saddle stitching family – the official unveiling in the UK of a new Ricoh Inline Booklet System and the UK preview of the PFi DI-CUT 300 die cutter, being launched on 11 October at The Print Show, as well as other innovations.
Afterwards, VIP guests move on to Hampton Court Palace that is steeped in history. For many people today, Hampton Court Palace is Henry VIII – hence Duplo’s royal connection with this being its eighth London Calling event. The largest kitchens of Tudor England – that served the king – are still often used to prepare meals.
