Yorkshire based commercial printer Post Haste has purchased a new DBM600 booklet maker and trimmer and two DSC-10/60i intelligent collators from Duplo as a part exchange for an older Duplo System 5000. The upgrade of their booklet maker in a part exchange deal saw an investment of £60,000 and was installed in the middle of October.

The Duplo DBM 600 booklet maker, trimmer and collator tower system sits perfectly in their portfolio of equipment with a maximum output of 5,200 books/hour and because it can handle A4 landscape seamlessly, with a booklet size range from 105x75mm – 350x254mm, handling up to 300gsm paper stock.

Duplo came and installed the booklet maker on the Tuesday, training was done the next day, and we started production jobs on it the same day. They also came back four weeks later to check everything was alright – Duplo have great engineers, and they really know the kit, we get fantastic after sales and support service which is why we stayed with them, but also because our previous Duplo booklet maker was simply a very reliable machine.
