What attracted you to the Regional Sales Manager role?
The possibility of travel, different types of customers and cultures and increased knowledge of machines and sales practices.
Describe a day/week in the life of a Regional Sales Manager ?
No day or week is the same. One day you can be in your home office making travel arrangements flights, hotels, meetings etc and the next day you could be attending exhibitions, open houses and visiting distributors and giving presentations.
In essence, this is the beauty of this role, there is no time to get bored and every day is a challenge and something different, all whilst representing the Duplo name and brand.
How much have you changed as a professional and personally since joining Duplo?
In my short time at Duplo I continue to grow each day. It is challenging, as no day is the same, and you get to do things you never done before and at the same time have to be professional and confident. Sometimes things may be hard to handle, but need to get through them, learn and gain experience.
What’s the best piece of advice that you would give to a young school leaver looking to get into a role within an International company ?
Be open minded, learn about cultural differences in selling and interacting with people, learn as much as you can from other people’s experience.
