The company

Responshuset AS is a Norwegian direct mail fulfilment house that started in 1997 as a one-man operation and, through its own success, now employs 12 staff.

It has developed a highly professional customer service team, a call-centre, a large packing room and also now occupies several hundred square meters of warehouse.

The customer base includes charities, online stores,
mail order companies, retailers, newspapers, advertising and media agencies.

An important element of the business comes from the collation of advertising material.

The challenge

The company wanted to find a faster solution to the existing inserter machine, which was struggling to keep up with the daily work volumes.

“The maximum throughput we could achieve was 1,000 sets per hour and our customers expect a six hour turnaround from us. We realised the time had come to find a new solution and one that was easy to set up as well as to operate”.

 

The solution

Responshuset AS invested in the Esper DM-19 Direct Marketing Collator from Duplo.

At 7,800 sets per hour, the Esper was over seven times faster. It reliably and quickly collates leaflets, brochures, as well as a variety of other printed advertising material in a wrap around cover ready for distribution.

The DM-19 is perfect for short to medium sized jobs.
It has an extremely fast and simple set up process,
but more importantly gets the job done quickly which was key.
